Save those precious eyes! |
You have this fabric to thank, it inspired me to share the love :)
Cutting/picking/threading black thread on black fabric is a lot easier when wearing magnifiers |
I'm giving away two. Any country and continent, preferably on planet Earth :), just leave a comment on this post and you're in. Random drawing will be this Friday, August 6th.
I would like to be part of your giveway. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about magnifiers a couple of days ago, when I was trying to pick the black threads from a black seam. So stressful, because I kept catching the fabric threads.
ReplyDeleteOoohhhh, please choose me! My eyes are betraying me these days. My brain feels 30 years younger, why do my eyes insist that chonological age matters?
ReplyDeleteThere is supposed to be an 'r' in chronological. See what I mean about the eyes?
ReplyDeleteI recently tried to unpick an invisible zipper from a very unstable sweater knit. These magnifiers would have been a huge help!
ReplyDeleteThanks for holding another giveaway!
Why not? It's harder and harder to see the individual stitches... (sigh).
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. My eyes are terrible, I even call my husband in several times a week to thread my needles. Thank you for this wonderful giveaway!
ReplyDeleteYouve got alot of people on the net talking about how good these magnifiers are. Id like to join the bandwagon and try them!
ReplyDeleteI'm kinda blind too, please count me in :)
ReplyDeleteOh that would I need. When you are turning 50 it's difficult to see what you are sewing. I don't think you can get them here in Finland.
ReplyDeleteOh great I am want give it a chance again. I have many black sewing projects on my fall wish list
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot
Oh, how I need those magnifiers now that I'm turning the bend into my sixth decade. I'm a big fan of your Hollywood/Broadway styles, having been raised in Westwood, (Uni High, etc) and had a father working in "the business." So I really admire the way you've got that Bundy Drive/Sunset Boulevard combo of glam and casual down just right. Something my East Coast mother could never get a handle on, although once she brought home leopard capris, trying to go for the Gina Lolo look in one fell swoop. We laughed for years about that one.
ReplyDeleteBut you've got it!
Please save my sight! Much love, Inkstain on PatternReview
Oh my eyes went long ago...count me in!
ReplyDeletePick me, pick me! I'm becoming as blind as a bat and had to wear two pairs of reading glasses at once the other day.
ReplyDeleteWow,cool giveaway! I like your style! Thanks and please do count me in too!!

ReplyDeleteoh.man! All of a sudden I'm squinting a lot more- trying to see things. but it has NOTHING to do with my 40th birthday coming up-- not at all! :)
ReplyDeletePlease enter me.
Thank you so much for the opportunity. Have newly found your blog and am really enjoying your writing. The eye guy swears I'm not ready for the big girl glasses yet but strangely I can barely see anything at arm's length or less... Please enter me in your giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to win these in your last giveaway. They are FABULOUS! When I had to pick out those threads on the white linen, they became invaluable and thank you so much. Whoever wins these will be very lucky. Of course, don't include me in this drawing. This is a generous gift.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to join the giveaway as well. These eyes aren't getting any younger. Thank you, whether I win or not!
ReplyDeleteThank you for a third try at the magnifiers. I am interested. The fabric in the photo above is totally gorgeous!
ReplyDeletewould love one! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat for eyes! Thank you for giving these away.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely giveaway. I have so many pairs of reading glasses, but something with a 3 x power would really help in the sewing room. Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeletePlease count me. Some years ago that my eyes need help, thanks
ReplyDeleteMagnifers are nice but tell us about the fabric--it's gorgeous
ReplyDeleteCount me in! I'm trying to feel lucky :)
ReplyDeleteI'm new to this blog and look forward to reading it. I've sustained some loss of vision due to glaucoma, and I had a vitreal detachment in my right eye and it looks like I'm looking thru
ReplyDeleteVaseline thru it. I would say that a pair of magnifiers would be perfect for me!
Gail D.
I have clip on magnifiers on my glasses held onto my head with elastic tied to each temple. I want one of those magnifiers so badly.
ReplyDeleteHi Birgitte, If I win, hope you don't mind shipping to Canada. Otherwise I'll have to drive down to get it! These eyes of mine would thank you for some magnifying help- love the fabric btw.
